The Nation also owns and operates a gas station (the 'Nation Station'), which it financed and built to serve casino-related traffic. To generate economic activity on the Reservation, the Nation spent $35 million to construct a casino, which it now runs. The Prairie Band of the Potawatomi Nation ('the Nation') is a federally-recognized Indian tribe located on United States trust land in Jackson County, Kansas.
